Re-Elect Harold Kim for Ward 6 Councillor

Harold Kim has represented Aurora and Ward 6 for three terms, including a term as Deputy Mayor. Residents know him as the councillor who answers when they call and follows through on what he hears, and he's running for a fourth term to keep serving the town his family calls home.

Servant Leadership

“I believe that it is not about who came up with the great idea, it’s all about supporting the great idea.”

This line sums up how I've tried to serve. Good ideas can come from anyone, a resident at the door, a colleague on Council, a business owner with a problem to solve. My job is to help the good ones move forward, no matter where they start.

Serving these past three terms has been one of the honours of my life. I've done my best to be someone you can reach and someone who follows through. When I get something right, it's usually because I listened first.

Aurora runs on people who give back, and I want to keep doing my part. If you'll have me back on Council, I'll serve the way I always have, with humility, with heart, and with a real commitment to the place we all call home.

Three Ways to Vote

Internet Voting (October 16 - 25)

Internet Voting opens at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 16 and closes at 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 25. Use the voter ID contained in your Voter Information Letter to vote.

Advance In-Person Voting (October 17 - 21)

Advance voting will be available at the Aurora Seniors' Centre, located at 90 John West Way:

  • Saturday, October 17 from 12 to 6 pm

  • Sunday, October 18 from 12 to 6 pm

  • Monday, October 19 from 4 pm to 8 pm

  • Tuesday, October 20 from 4 pm to 8 pm

  • Wednesday, October 21 from 4 pm to 8 pm

Advance voting provides flexibility for residents with busy schedules and can help avoid Election Day lineups.

Vote In-Person on Election Day (October 26)

Electors can also vote in person on Election Day, Monday, October 26, from 10 am - 8 pm at Aurora Recreation Complex - Gym at 1400 Wellington St E, L4G 7B6 which is the designated polling place for Ward 6.
