Kept property taxes low without reducing services. Supported some of the lowest tax increases Aurora has seen in over 20 years, while protecting the services residents rely on and continuing to invest in infrastructure.
Revitalized Edward Coltham Park. New green-and-black resurfaced pickleball courts with surrounding fencing, along with broader improvements across the park.
Completed the David Tomlinson Nature Reserve. Finished the final stage of trails and improvements, opening up more of Aurora's natural space for people to explore.
Made our trails safer for everyone. Championed clear safety signage at every trail entrance, so walkers, runners, and families know that e-scooters, e-bikes, and other motorized vehicles are not permitted on the paths. A small change that keeps Aurora's trail network the welcoming, shared space it should be.
Helped bring John Abel Park to life in Ward 6. A new space for residents to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors close to home.
Championed safer, more efficient streets in Ward 6. Helped bring new traffic signals to the Mavrinac and St. John's intersection, easing left turns and keeping traffic moving, while supporting pedestrian safety

Serving All of Aurora
Championed the creation of Aurora's annual Multicultural Festival. The event has grown and become one of the ways new and long-time residents come together and feel part of the community.
Put Aurora's reserve funds to work more effectively. Championed a motion to diversify a portion of the Town's medium and long-term reserves into a professionally managed investment strategy, drawing on my 25 years in financial services. The result was tens of millions in additional income compared to leaving those funds in GICs and short-term bonds, income that helped fund community services.
Made tennis court time fairer for families. Brought forward a motion setting clear time limits and a fair permitting system on public tennis courts, so kids and families aren't left waiting indefinitely for their turn.
Supported the creation of pickleball courts at Edward Coltham Park (Roy Harper Ave and William Graham Drive, Thomas Coates Park (Mavrinac Blvd) and throughout Aurora.
Supported the development of Aurora Town Square and the revitalization of our downtown core, keeping the heart of town vibrant for residents and local business.
Supported the gymnasium at the Aurora Recreation Complex, a well-used space that keeps residents of every age active year-round.
Supported the renovation of the Aurora Sports Dome, giving athletes of all ages a place to play soccer, rugby, and more all year long.
Supported the acquisition of parkland across Aurora, securing green space and room to play for today's residents and those who come after.
Supported a winter windrow-removal pilot for seniors and residents with accessibility needs, clearing the snowbank the plow leaves at the end of the driveway.
What We Will Do Together
Keep listening, and keep representing Ward 6. Stay accessible, keep knocking on doors, and bring residents' concerns directly to the Council table. Good representation starts with showing up and listening.
Bring more good jobs closer to home. Work to attract and keep employers in growing fields like medtech, healthcare, and biotech, so more residents can build their careers here rather than commuting out of Aurora each day. This is at the heart of making Aurora a place to live, work, and play.
Welcome new residents into the life of the community. Help the many families choosing Aurora as their home get connected and involved, adding to the spirit of volunteerism that makes this such a good place to live.
Protect service levels as Aurora grows. As our population expands, work to make sure the services and infrastructure residents count on keep pace instead of falling behind.
Look after the well-being of our neighbourhoods. Continue to champion the parks, trails, and recreation spaces, along with the public safety measures, that keep Aurora a healthy and welcoming place to live.
Make sure Ward 6 grows the right way. Support smart growth while protecting the character of our existing neighbourhoods.
Pursue the big opportunities residents want to see. Bring forward and support ambitious projects that create jobs and enrich community life, guided by what residents tell us matters most.
Sustainable spending. Disciplined spending and low property taxes that keep Aurora affordable without cutting the services residents rely on.
